- «land» incluye el suelo público de esparcimiento: parques, espacios abiertos, APARCAMIENTOS, campos de juego y demás suelo de un statutory body, más el suelo cubierto por agua (art. 19A(2))
- en carretera pública esta Parte IIA no se aplica (art. 19B(1)): allí manda la Roads Act 1993, cuyo art. 69(1)(a) sí prohíbe sin más colocar o mantener una «temporary dwelling» en carretera nacional, autopista, busway o vía protegida, y el 69(1)(b) la prohíbe en las demás carreteras prescritas salvo consentimiento de la road authority
