Het verbod in het eerste lid geldt niet: voor vaartuigen en woonboten die een ligplaats innemen waar dit op grond van artikel 5:25 of het omgevingsplan is toegestaan; voor woonwagens die in overeenstemming met het omgevingsplan zijn geplaatst; op een kampeerterrein dat als zodanig in het omgevingsplan is bestemd of mede bestemd; op kampeerplaatsen die op grond van artikel 4:19 zijn aangewezen; voor vrachtwagenchauffeurs die bij de uitoefening van hun beroep in de cabine van hun vrachtwagen overnachten op een daarvoor ingerichte parkeerplaats; het overnachten in hun voertuig door deelnemers aan een evenement in verband met deelname aan dat evenement.»
