How this is done
What separates this from a blog is that every statement is backed by an official document, archived and sealed.
One rule, one proof
Every regulation published carries its article, its literal citation in the original language and the sha256 of the official document, which is archived. If the regulation changes, the hash no longer matches and the alert is raised: nothing continues to be asserted that the regulation no longer says.
The translation is not the rule
The original quotation is always the source. Our translation is our own work and we are therefore answerable for it, so it is shown as support, never in its place.
We never say «puedes»
«The vehicle may stay for 48 hours» is advice. «The rule sets a limit of 48 hours» is information. That sentence is the boundary of the product: we reproduce what the official gazette says, not what we think ought to be done.
We return rules, not spots
We do not say where other people have slept, nor do we recommend a specific spot. The map shown is the polygon of the municipality and the part of it that falls within a protected area, calculated against the data of the European Environment Agency. There is not, and cannot be, a marker.
