«Het is verboden ten behoeve van recreatief nachtverblijf kampeermiddelen te plaatsen of geplaatst te houden buiten een kampeerterrein dat als zodanig in het omgevingsplan is bestemd of mede bestemd. Het verbod geldt niet voor het plaatsen van kampeermiddelen voor eigen gebruik door de rechthebbende op een terrein. Met uitzondering van door het college aangewezen plaatsen geldt het verbod niet voor het gedurende een korte periode plaatsen en geplaatst houden van een eenvoudig (nachtelijk) onderkomen met een maximale oppervlakte van 7 m2 voor gebruik door sportvissers tijden de uitoefening van de hengelsport. Het college kan ontheffing verlenen van het verbod. Onverminderd het bepaalde in artikel 1:8. kan de ontheffing worden geweigerd in het belang van de bescherming van: natuur en landschap; of een stads- of dorpsgezicht.»
